Was a bit scary at 4.15 am when leavi ng through the side door to be meet by a drunk guy wanting to give me a hug. Luckily the taxi came a little early. Just got a fright when going out the door, as i didn't see him there.

Clean facility, ice and water dispenser machine on each floor. Appreciate that they had self-serve laundry available but several of the machines were broken, so doing two loads took awhile.

There was absolutely no staff Visibility to help with luggage we had to lug our own luggage to our rooms which is unheard of / previous owners had bell staff to take your luggage from the car - foyer areas are very run down - whole hotel needs a revamp as it’s looking very stayed - it is such a shame as we have been here many times under the old owners and loved it every time - this time we have been left wanting - even the rooftop bar was empty which tells you something - this used to ALwAyS be pumping …. Do better to stay competitive

Nice and clean, staff very friendly plus good location which restaurants, supermarkets and attractions walking distance .

Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend.
